Ralph L. Ricciardelli, CPA, Emeritus, is a founding partner of Burzenski & Company, P.C. Since 1983, he has been instrumental in shaping and managing the firm. He served as the firm’s managing partner until July 2018. He manages the firm’s tax department and serves as director of construction services.

His many years of experience in tax and financial consulting have focused on closely-held businesses as well as individuals. Ralph’s extensive experience in financial planning includes individual, business and estate tax planning with an acute sensitivity to the personal needs and wishes of individuals. 

He works closely with business owners to compile financial information, and he provides a diverse range of services including a review of operations, technology consulting, cost segregation studies, buy/sell agreements, preparation of business plans and lender presentations.

He often speaks on various tax and financial topics and has authored numerous articles. His lectures and presentations have addressed financial planning, how to read financial statements, sales and use tax, tax reform, business and individual taxes and developing business plans. 

A graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mr. Ricciardelli is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He served on the Board of Governors and various committees of the CSCPA, including Chairman of the Federal Tax Committee.

He is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association, Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut, Inc., Associated General Contractors of Connecticut and the Independent Electrical Contractors of New England. Additionally, he is active in various business and civic organizations, including the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, East Haven Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Tax Assessment Review for the Town of North Haven.
